Is there way to show all images, including subfolders, when I'm in root folder? I believe this was a feature request last year.
Badly needed.

#9457 Hi,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
This feature is not implemented yet; however, we are going to release a feature: "generate shortcode to load image based on certain tag".
Cheers,

Hi,
Unless i missed something, there's no way to display all the library images at once unless they're all in the same folder(?)
That sounds crazy…
Until now, i have to affect each image to both its destination folder AND the library root to be able to display all the library images at once by clicking the root folder.
Plus the root folder doesn't have a media count: very handy when you want to know how many images are in the library!
Please do something quickly about this, it's been asked for months, maybe years!
See attached: if inspiring, WP Real Media Library plugin has a "All files" button to display all media in the library + there's a media count on it.
Cheers

#12282 Hi avanti,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
We know this feature is so helpful in some cases; however, there is a bunch of important features waiting for us.
Its popularity should be checked also. Anyway, we noted that in our planning area.
Thanks a lot!

#12354 We would like to have the option of turning on an "All Media" link in the plugin settings. That will allow those who would like to switch to a view that shows all media in a single "folder". However, we wouldn't want to have the root folder be that view. We struggle with users uploading media using the direct file upload option and the files ending up in the root folder. In order to keep media organized, we'd like to see the root folder show the actual count of files that haven't had a folder assigned to them (there's a separate enhancement request thread for this feature already) instead of a count of all files in all folders.

#13638 I just figured out a way to do this. Move the file to the root folder or simply upload it there to begin with. Then click on the file and assign it to the subfolders that you want to include it in. After that it will appear in the root and in the subfolder. Boom!
Hmm, what do you mean? WP Media Folders are categories, just click a folder and you'll see the medias of the clicked category…
Unless i didn't understood your question.
And i forgot to mention: the "View all medias" option is coming (at least) in WPMF 5.1, according to their authors.
See here, in another thread, same subject: https://www.joomunited.com/support/pre-sales-forum/feature-ideas-for-wp-media-folder/option-to-view-all-files-in-the-library-across-all-the-folders#reply-13595
