Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
Will be loading large number of WooCommerce products, and in a "separate" file will be loading Images into WP Media Folders....can these be sync'd later & what is necessary to have this happen?

Sorry, I am not clear what you mean. Could you explain more details about your requirement?

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,

Simply....Step 1) load all images into Media Folders from external source
Step 2) load all products into WooCommerce

Step 3)...can we sync the products with the images and under what conditions;i.e, what attributes are necessary for this this occur?

Hi,

If you use an unique folder name by product, it would be possible to link a folder name to a WooCommerce product.

There is nothing builtin in WP Media Folder to do that and you will have in any case do a custom script.
And some knowing about WP taxonomies will be required.

Best regards.

Damien...you're missing the issue....let me attempt this again:

Step 1) I have all my images stored locally with descriptions....I proceed to "bulk" import these to the Media Library (I assume I can do this). Presto all these images are stored in the Library or if you will the WP Media Folders.

Step 2) I then proceed to WooCommerce and then "bulk import" my products. Presto, all my products are now in WooCommerce.

At Issue: is there a way for the images in WP Media Folders to be "sync'd" to the products in WooCommerce?

I don't know the woocommerce bulk import but
You can import files from a locally/ftp folder with WP Media folder, these images will be name as if you upload it through the WP media manager (name of the image and path depending on your WP config)
If in the woocommerce import you can set an image filename and path then you should be able to do what you want.

In your demo:
"WP Media Folder is compatible with WooCommerce. In an e-commerce website you need to manage a lot of images for each product, or each category of products. It thus degenerates and quickly becomes complicated to find your images. Now you'll be able to classify your products images in folders. All plugins that use WordPress media manager will be able to use WP Media Folder."

...and further in the Folder Structure you have WooCommerce, subordinated by "Phone Products" and "Shirts"....are we to assume that there are further subordinated "folders" for each "product/Image". (You seem to equate images with folders...is there a difference and what would that be).

So in the Media Library where all the images are stored....how do you distinguish the images from the folders and how are they merged, and where are they merged?

So on the Media Import is there a "standard" mapping schema, and does it include a folder reference?
