User folders
Hello, I am ready to buy WP Media Folder, but am deciding whether the add on is needed as well.
1. I want to primarily use the product for User Folders, so my subscribers can manage their media. Does the add-on allow them each to sync their folders with their Drive or Dropbox accounts? Or is there just one account for the entire wordpress? If just one account, is there still value in the Drive/Dropbox connection for individual User Folders?
2. Can WP Media Folder be used as a full-fledged file manager, or is it limited to media files only? I want my User Folders to be able to post any files in their folder, for insertion into posts.
3. With User Folders, is it possible for a user to insert the contents of an entire folder into a new post? What if the folder contains non-images, e.g. MS Office files? And then can a viewer of that post be given the option to UPLOAD one or more files back to that same folder?
4. WP Media Folder a backend only tool? I'm using gravity forms, and would like to give my users the ability to manage their files from the frontend.
Thank you!

#9186 Hi,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
If WP users can access Media, they can upload files to their folders in Media. But only admin can access one Cloud account for each types.
Besides all media files are supported in WP Media default, WP Media Folder can work with svg images.
Users can insert any media files from their folders but viewer on front-end cannot upload files to that folder.
The system will be created automatically folders by user or by role: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/wp-media-folder-documentation#toc-4-3-media-access
I'm sorry, I have not tested with Gravity forms plugin. If you can open WP Media default with the plugin on frontend, it should work with WP Media Folder.
Hope it helps!
Cheers,

Hi There, I purchased the $59 version of WP Media. Having issues. For example, see attached. If I delete the two add ons, all the issues go away. Looks like the $29 version is the way to go, and works perfectly for me. Can you refund the difference? Thank you. Best, Damon

Also, I'm seeing duplicate folders. For example, in the attached, the same Test folder is appearing in two separate locations. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you.

I just want the $30 back. This isn’t a support issue. Please refund.
