Hi, in my wordpress the wp-contents/2015... folder is very full of images files. Before to buy your plugin I need to know if it will move really the images file from wp-contents/2015... folder to the others folders that I will made (my fear is that only changes the references in the database but leave the files at the same place), repeat: I need to empty the wp-contents/2015... folder!!
WP Media folder is right for me?
thank you
T
Hi,

You "can't" create real folders in WordPress and keep the default media manager compatibility.
Well you can but when you'll uninstall the plugin everything will be lost. It's too much implanted in the core of WP.

Have you check that: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-change-the-default-media-upload-location-in-wordpress-3-5/

Cheers,

Uhhh I have tried it yesterday: a disaster, if I write that code in wpconfig all the OLD images don't show

But if I buy this plugin and NEVER uninstall it, I am all right?

The plugin won't move any images, so you still have the same amount of images in same /wp-uploads/... folders.
Only the admin display in the media manager changes.

Cheers,
