Hi, I'm looking for a backup solution for a Multisite install of about 5 sites. I'd like to backup each whole site, but also have the ability to select a specific folder (WP/uploads/myfolder) and backup to Drobox or other similar cloud storage? Do you have a plugin to do this please?

#16571 Hi,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
This feature is not supported in our plugin. However, there could be another way to backup data when using our plugin.
Our plugin is based on WP Media library default, so folders in our plugin are virtual ones in the Media library.
And you can export Media with selected folders in our plugin, then using it to backup later.
Please go here for more details:

Hope this helps!

Thanks for you reply.
So to confirm, the WP Media Folder plugin will sync a folder like this one wp-content/uploads/sites/2/participants-database to a selected Dropbox folder?
I can also sync similar folders from other sites within the multisite install?
It will not do a full site backup.
I assume I need the plugin + addons license? If this does not work will i be able to get a refund please?
Many thanks
Anthony

#16576 Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me with more information.
Once your site is connected successfully to Dropbox, there will be a root folder generated on your Dropbox based on your connection manner.
And on your WP Media library, there will be a cloud root folder named "Dropbox" for example with Dropbox icon.
Then when you upload files to Dropbox folders, they will be sync to your Dropbox; of course, files are actually stored in the Dropbox server.
Files will be indexed on your Media library only. The path on the cloud server will be like this in Dropbox:
Then all new Dropbox folders created on your Media library will be children of "JoomUnited Cloud Connector"/{AppName} folder on Dropbox.
Please go here for more information:
https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-documentation/wp-media-folder/521-wp-media-folder-addon-dropbox-integration#toc-3-how-does-it-work-whatcan-i-do-with-dropbox-
With the multisite website, each site will have its settings to connect to a cloud account.
If you want to sync all sub-sites in multisite to a folder on the cloud, you can connect using the "Automatic" option.
Then all media will be sync to a root folder - "JoomUnited Cloud Connector" on the cloud server.
Yes, you should order WP Media Folder + Addons package. If you encounter any trouble with compatibility,
our developer in charge can fix that for you or we can refund you.
Hope this helps!
