My server is low on space.
Using OneDrive for Business, when media is added to the WordPress Media Library what happens to the physical file?
Is the file transferred to OneDrive and served from there?

Also, is it compatible with ShortPixel or other media compression plugins?

Yes, you can free up server space using the cloud integration in WP Media Folder.
Once your files are uploaded to the cloud folder within the Media Library, they are synced with your connected account in the plugin settings.

Regarding ShortPixel, we haven't officially tested how it interacts with external cloud files in the media library.
However, WP Media Folder includes a built-in image optimization feature.
