I got this error after installing the WP Media Folder Plugin:

en(/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php72/sess_7d64f1b9756c9fd992ab71cd63eac678, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/miciudad/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-media-folder/class/class-media-folder.php on line 408

Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php72) in /home/miciudad/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-media-folder/class/class-media-folder.php on line 408

My question is this plugin compatible with PHP 7.2?
Well let me know if you find the problem, thank you

I did not find a technical support email to send my question so I am using this forum. Let me know if this is the place for questions or I should send it to a different place.

By the way, the previous error was given in a new WordPress installation.

My second question is: where does it talk about the compatibility with the latest version of PHP?

You do not talk about it here:
https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-products/wp-media-folder
https://www.joomunited.com/changelog/wp-media-folder-changelog
https://www.joomunited.com/support/faq/wp-media-folder

Note: As most people know, the latest version of PHP allows WordPress run faster = Better rankings for SEO, therefore this info is so important that should be everywhere. You should add it to the FAQ too. By the way, The FAQ is very easy to use (I love it. Thank you)

Hi,

We did not add it as all our plugins are compatible with all version of php supported by PHP team including 7.2 (For some extensions it's even working with old php version which are not even maintained)
Anyway it seems to be a session problem in your case, please open a support ticket here https://www.joomunited.com/support/ticket-support so we can check it with you.

Best regards

Error Message: "We did not add it as all our plugins are compatible with all version of PHP supported by PHP team including 7.2 (For some extensions it's even working with old PHP version which are not even maintained)"

The total compatibility of your plugins with the latest version of PHP and WordPress does not justify that you do not let them (the users) know about it by specifying it clearly, in case of this plugin, in the links I presented in the first post.

Anyway, I am very happy about the compatibility with the latest version of PHP and WordPress because it means that, we do not have to worry about it.

I have opened a ticket and sent the wp-admin access so you can see the problem.

Thank you.
