Is it possible to mix images (.jpg) and videos (.mp4) in one gallery?

Yes, you can create that gallery using Media Folder Galleries. Please go here for further information:

Can pagination be added to the gallery?
For example, setting 30 images per page and allocating them to the next page when that limit is exceeded.

At present, there is no pagination option available. Nevertheless, in nearly all themes, additional images will be loaded automatically as you scroll.
