Hello, I am thinking of buying WP Media Folder and wanted to ask if I can have titles or captions appear under an image when making a masonry gallery. Also, can the title automatically be generated from the file name, omitting the file type extension, so I won't have to enter this for every image? What I mean is an image with the file name "This Image.jpg" would show up in the gallery as a title/caption "This Image". Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
if I can have titles or captions appear under an image when making a masonry gallery.

With Masonry gallery, the title will display below the lightbox only when you click on every single image.
can the title automatically be generated from the file name, omitting the file type extension, so I won't have to enter this for every image?

Yes, the title will be generated automatically after uploading, you can set to omit the special characters.

Hope it helps!

I guess the masonry option won't work for me because I need to display image titles under the image without having to click on them.

Your portfolio option does this but how would that handle different aspect ratio images? Does it crop them all to rectangles or does it display the actual aspect ratio?

If it crops to a rectangle do I have any control over that shape, say making it a perfect square instead?

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

With Portfolio theme, the images will not be displayed as rectangles, they will be on front-end with their ratio.

Cheers,
