J Media Folder :-)

Hi guys,

I have asked before some time ago...
I believe for Joomla there is still not a really good integrated media folder.
None that comes close your WP Media folder.

So just a new reminder, if that would come for Joomla I would love that!
Many other tools are trying to also do a better job than Joomla so sometimes you have 3 different ways to upload images.
That is very very confusing for users and on all my WP sites where I install WP media folder it is integrated very good.
I believe Joomla has lost interest in the years between 1.5 and 3 a lot because they never focust on a good media manager that is priority one for many webmasters.
Still in 2025 you need to manually reduce images, create your own thumb in the media manager.
JCE does make it easier but still is not really close to WP media folder.

What a gamechanger for Joomla would a media manager like that be :-D

Maybe you guys focus is on WP now and that I can imagine.
And I do to in a lot of situations but my heart is still more at Joomla and with a good media manager I would use it more for simple sites.
