If we have say, 200 image files of 500 image file needed already online, and are not sure which ones now need uploading or not, can we just upload all 500 and the plugin decide which ones are already online (so don't need uploading) or will all 500 be uploaded so we now have 700 images online?

Hi,

The image replacement cannot be done on this amount of image in one shot.
The image replacement in our plugin is done one by one, checking the file format to do not beak any link to your media.

By default, with WordPress, you'll get 700 images.

Hi,
Is it possible to use WP Media Folder to replace all images etc. currently in the Wordpress media library with files in Google Drive?
Or do I need to do it one by one manually?

Hi syosyo,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, it is possible to use WP Media Folder to replace all the images in the WordPress media library with files from Google Drive.
However, you would need to manually move the files from the local folders to the corresponding Google Drive folders within the media library.

To achieve better loading speed and automatic synchronization, it is recommended to use Amazon S3 instead.
It allows for automatic syncing and provides improved website performance.

It is advisable to create a backup before implementing any changes.

Cheers,
