Hello,
I have a WP site that we upload videos and pictures to weekly. I would like to find a better way to do this, without becoming a WP expert. After looking at WP Media Folder, it looks like it will do what I need (or get me really close). Note: The way we use are site, we do not want it to be a e-commerce site, just for viewing.
Here is what I would like to accomplish:
1. Sync pictures and videos from OneDrive.
2. Using the root folder that WPMF creates on OneDrive, set up subfolders. Example, have two folders called Avalailble and Reserved. Within those folders, there will be sub folders for each item (ie. Mower, saw, etc). In the item folders will be video or pictures of that item.
3. I would like the folders to show up on a page as links or galleries that people can click on to view the item.
4. When folders are updated or deleted on OneDrive, the links or galleries are dynamically updated.
5. I would like to insert metadata either from a json/xml file within the folder or within the title of the pictures (mower_2024_goodcondition.jpg), which would be add as a description to the folder or the picture (ie. Mower - 1.5 HP, 2024, good condition).
6. The pictures are automatically converted to a web friendly resolution.
In a nutshell, I would like to simply upload pictures to folders on OneDrive, and they automatically show up on our WP site on a specfic page.
Note: We use Elementor as our page editor.
Let me know if you need more details. Thanks!
