FTP import is not showing the /uploads directory

I am trying to use FTP Import to bring my existing media library items into WP Media Folder as shown here https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/wp-media-folder-documentation#toc-4-4-ftp-server-file-importer

However for unknown reasons, the directory tree on my FTP Import screen does not include the wp-content/uploads directory, as shown in the attached image. But of course this directory really does exist (see Filezilla view in second attachment)! All other WP Media Folder functionality works fine and has no trouble seeing this directory, for instance 'Add New' correctly puts the new files into the /uploads folder.
