I am going to renew, however, if i do not put an image in a folder ....eventually the folder is deleted. If there is an image in the folder, it will not be deleted. I a using caching plugins along with optimizing plugins....problem is i have over 250 folders with 80% filled. I keep having to go back and make a new folder again. I have not narrowed what is causing it....if any plugin at all!

Any word on this little nightmare?

if i do not put an image in a folder ....eventually the folder is deleted. If there is an image in the folder, it will not be deleted.

I want to make sure that our plugin does not remove empty folders automatically. It could conflict with your other plugins.

I a using caching plugins along with optimizing plugins

It is not easy for us to check without knowing your caching plugin.

Got this figured out....how can you make a backup of the media folder.??..YOUR media folder. This way if I delete something by error (and boy do i do that alot!) I can just upload the media again!

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

how can you make a backup of the media folder.??

You can go to Menu Tools > Export > Media to backup your Media.
