Hi

I want to use WP Media Folder to manage images on a classifieds website. I want images attached to a listing to appear in one folder, members profile images to appear in another folder, and blog post images in another. (The listing images once uploaded get sent to AWS, but you can currently see them in the default media library but they are actually pointing to an AWS URL)

I'm confused as to which version of the plugin I should buy as under add-ons it says "Besides the WP Media folder plugin features you'll get the possibility to create image galleries from existing folders and more."

So do I need the add-on to do this or is this only if I want to create galleries?

Thanks for the clarification.

>> It can be done with the version without the addons, the addons are a connection to cloud services and a separate plugin to manage multi level photo albums.

You can check the demo here:

Thanks for that. I don't think I understood very well what the plugin actually does. I've purchased it and given it to my dev team but they said I can't upload directly to different folders with the AWS Offload S3 plugin. I see the add on you have works with drop box, etc. Are image buckets on AWS supported at all?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi ziilch,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

This is something we have planned for a future Cloud addon release: version 2.2 (we are currently in version 2.1.7).

Though it’s hard to give a precise date on new features release for various reasons.
It mainly depends on the development roadmap we've defined for the developer and problems we may encounter during this period :)

Cheers,
