Hello, currently I have enabled network(multisite) on my wordpress.
A plugin called User Role Editor installed, it allows to create other roles.

This thread is asking what i am asking, and i read Media display restriction section, but this is base on user.
Can this plugin use role to create folder instead of user? that means if the user under role 1, then they can see medias under role 1 folder only.
Or both folders will created, they are user one(only own user can see the media) and role one(only users under this role can see the media).
If i buy this plugin, your team will help to add this function? or give me some ideas how to add this function by myself(maybe i will do the programming part to extend it).

To be clear, you mean create automatically a folder based on user role (as an option). So, only users that are in a specific user group can see and manage media from this folder. Is that correct?
This is not currently implemented, the current limitation is only a folder per user as you've seen. Technically, the 2 restrictions can get along with. If you're a developer we can point you in the right direction but we can't code all the stuff
The developer in charge is currently full time booking in a planning we've defined.
Of course if you want work on that from your side I would be happy to offer you a license and we could reintegrate your work in the plugin after we review all that. Let me know.

Yes it's the same, it's just that user group is the name in Joomla not in WordPress
