Hi,

I have a page where users can upload image files. These files are saved in username directory under uploads, such as wp-content/uploads/profiles/username/

If i install WP media folder, will I see this structure? I.e. will I see my pro grammatically created username folders with user files in them? Will I see contents of these folders update in real time, as more users save more files?

Also, will I be able to interact with these folders and files the same way as I would with manually created folders in WP media folder? Delete/move them?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

WP Media Folder will create virtual folders, so it could not fit your requirement.

Hope it helps!

Hi, thank you for your reply. I am flexible on folder locations. If I create my user folders within Wordpress standard location uploads/year/month/username - will this allow me to see the files through the plugin?

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

Files are uploaded to virtual folders in WP Media Folder but stored at physical folders as Media deafult.

Hope you understand!
Cheers,
