Hello,

I read a coupe of articles on your site and this product may be just what I am looking for. However, there are some things I do not understand.

  1. First, I note that a file is added by uploading it within the the plugin"s interface into its own folder structure. Is it not possible simply to reference a PDF file already in my WP media? At this stage, I only want to show individual PDF files at a time on my pages

  2. Second: is there some control as to the size of the file icon, the preview and download icon, or even some option to alter their design? I am particularly worried about responsiveness. In your article , things look great on desktop but if the display style/size cannot be made responsive, it's going to look huge on mobile, both for the file icon but also the file name typography.

Thirdly, following on about responsiveness, can the layout change with different screen sizes, just like other elementor components? For example, can I have a desktop display where everything is horizontal, and a mobile display all vertical?

Thank you for your answers.

Best regards

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

In this case, you can import files from your Media library to WP File download plugin.

If you want to customize your single file design you can modify to fit your design.

Thirdly, following on about responsiveness, can the layout change with different screen sizes, just like other elementor components? For example, can I have a desktop display where everything is horizontal, and a mobile display all vertical?

Our plugin is responsive but if you encounter any issue with that, our dev will help you in details.

Hope this helps!

So sorry. I read the documentation you pointed to and I realise I still have some questions.

First, as per the above, is it possible to have the Single File design on one single line if I only have the icon, file name and download and preview buttons (which I will make smaller)

Second: can I change the text of the download and preview buttons to accommodate other languages?

I am considering getting the whole WP plugin bundle. The other plugins look good too.

Sorry, I don't seem to be able to edit.

I found that it is possible to change languages in the configuration it seems, but I wondered if I could keep defaults and just change the the buttons' text to anything I want. Can I do that without Custom CSS?

I also note your previous answer that I can select a file directly from my Media Gallery instead of having to upload it, but I don't see how to do that in documentation.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

You can disabled other options in the single file design. However, in this case, we have to customize CSS.

Second: can I change the text of the download and preview buttons to accommodate other languages?

Yes, normally those buttons are translated following your language site.
You can override your language without customizing CSS.

Does the full bundle include all the Pro+Add-ons features?

Yes, certainly. Our WP bundle will contain fully packages of all WP plugins.
