Hi! I am planning on building a site which will have folders with quite alot of files..

1. Lets say I want to make a category called "Carpenters" and only the people with the user role "carpenter" can see that category. Is that possible? Or is it specific to each user?

2. What if a customer wants to access more categories, can I apply a second user role for that user or do I have to set spesific rights for that user?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

2. What if a customer wants to access more categories, can I apply a second user role for that user or do I have to set spesific rights for that user?

Yes, you can restrict users by Joomla access level or Joomla user group in our Dropfiles. It supports multi-levels or groups per category.
Moreover, it's possible to set a single Joomla user for a category of files.

Please go here for more information:
https://www.joomunited.com/joomla-documentation/dropfiles/280-dropfiles-parameters#toc-3-acl-file-permission-2

Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
