each folder to have a different file display theme

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

I wanted each folder to have a different file display theme

eg.:
folder 1 (theme tree)
folder 2 (theme table)
etc...

as per the animation here: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-demo/wp-file-download/

But I can't see this function only > configuration / Frontend / Default theme per category

You should enable the option: > configuration > Frontend > Theme per categories.
Then you can see themes to select for each category.

P.S: I removed your duplicated ticket in the WP Media Folder category.
