Does Droppics work with PHP 8?

Yes, Droppics works well on PHP 8 currently, please let us know if you encounter any issues.

Is it possible to show a specific category/photo gallery, so you don't only show the parent one and then have to drill down?
How do you show the galleries in frontend? Is it possible to embed/inser the gallery to an article via a plugin or do you have to create menu items?

You can insert directly a single images or galleries on the article using button editor or use a custom module to show images on frontend.
