Galeries with Dropbox

Hello,
I search a solution to manage easily photo galeries on my site with Dropbox.

I would like to organise in folders my galeries on Dropbox like :
- my folder 1 : contains photos
- my foder 2 : contains others photos
- my folder : contains other photos

On my Joomla site, i can then have a page with the different photos galeries shown and then see my full galeries folder by folder.

The goal is : when i add an image in one of my folder on dropbox, the galerie is automatically updated on my joomla site.

Is this possible with one of your extension ? If so, which one(s) and how

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
- If Droppics, it's impossible currently because, Droppics is not integrated to Dropbox now.
- If Dropfiles, it should be fit your desire. For more details. you can see Dropfiles demo or Dropfiles documentation.

Ok, so if i use Dropfile, i can generate automatic galery with Dropbox as i wish, correct ?

In order to have a deeper look at your problem, please drop us a ticket (menu Support > Ticket support). The developer in charge will take a look at that.

i can generate automatic gallery with Dropbox as i wish, correct ?

Dropfiles manages files and categories, it doesn't have any "Gallery". I'm sorry, what do you mean here?

For the email, that's because your email have been stored in spam folder...
Ok, my question is :
- I have a dropbox account where i put my photos ordered in folders.
I would like to know if i can have my folders shown as galery on my sites automatically : i add photos on Dropbox, the photos are added automatically to the folder on the site and are shown as galeries (like some component like Phoca Gallery).
The goal is simple : as soon i add a photo in a specific folder on my dropbox, i don't have to also update my galery on my site.
It is something needed for many customers with galeries on their site : to avoid to do the work 2 or 3 times to have the photo galerie updated...

Hi,

Thanks for your response.
I'm sorry, I did not press the important thing in the previous reply that our Droppics cannot sync to Dropbox now.
It could be fit your requirement if our plugin was integrated with Dropbox.
Anyway, we'll keep that in mind for a future release!
