Upgrading from 5.1.X to 5.2.X - GDrive & Cron

Upgrading from 5.1.X to 5.2.X, do we need to change anything in the extension preferences if we're using Google Drive and cron jobs?

Your data will be sync by the Google changes. Basically, you do not do anything but you can run sync if needed.

I see that there is a new live sync feature - will that work automatically if we remove the cron jobs from our host?

Yes, it will work as usual.
