Hello JoomUnited team,
I am looking for a tool which can handle the following requirements.

1) having different projects/categories with users that can only access this categories (ok, this can be done by Joomla by default, but maybe you have implemented your own access management in this component?)

2) E-Mail notification to users in project if new file is arrived/uploaded and only to this dedicated users of the project/category.

3) download (with login) in frontend (or maybe directly with a link in the send e-Mail?)

4) file upload only by admin, not by users (they should only be able to download the files in their project)

Hi,

At this time, each category has one category owner and you can change the owner. However, we will go deeper for category management in the next Addon version - User file repository.

2) E-Mail notification to users in project if new file is arrived/uploaded and only to this dedicated users of the project/category.

Yes, you can set who will receive the email. For more information, you can see File Notification System at

Yes, you can do it in frontend.

Some more details to the questions pls:

1) can I only add 1 user to the category?

2) canI set for each category who will get the email? Or can it be set for only one user in dropfiles? E.g.: I upload a file to catgeory 1 and user/owner of category 1 willget the email, that a new files has arrived, than I upload a file to category 2 and user/owner of catgeory 2 will get the email?

Hi,

Yes, that's owner of category parameter, you can set it. The feature: multi-users for a category will be released soon.

Yes, owner category will get an email notification.
