Hi - i like the look of this component. We have been asked to create a website for a printing company. They would need the ability for their clients to upload designs from the front end of the website. There would be no requirement (at the moment) for the person uploading the image to see their or any other images that have been uploaded. The printing company will need to receive an email alert to say someone has uploaded an image which would prompt them to logon to Google Drive or the backend of joomla to download the file. I would envisage that that the file would then be removed from joomla as it would be stored and worked on on their local computers.

Please can you let me know if the Dropfiles component will be suitable for this application?

Thanks, Jon

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
Yes, with Dropfiles, users can upload files from front-end, and Email notification system helps you alert if there is any actions on files. For more details: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/dropfiles-documentation#toc-2-7-email-notifications

Thanks a lot!
Regards,
