Generate a thumbnail automatically on file upload.

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

it would be great if a preview image of the respective file would be generated automatically during file upload. So for a pdf, for example, the first page of the file as a preview image.

Yes, this feature has been released recently. Please check it on our demo page:

On the Main setting > Frontend tab, you should enable "JoomUnited previewer server" option
and then click on "Generate Preview" button.

We support serveral file types: ai, jpg, doc, docx, html,... you can see them on the tooltip at settings or the link above.
If it does not work when you are using the file types that we support, please drop us a ticket (Menu Support > Support ticket).
Our developer in charge will take a look at that.
