Hi guys. Am I doing something wrong or is renaming the image file name doesn't update the references to it?
I changed on under WP Meta SEO > Image information (Column Name), but then it got broken on one page where this image was used.

Or do I need to go and manually change all places where the image was used with old name to the new name/file?

Thanks,
Waldemar

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
do I need to go and manually change all places where the image was used with old name to the new name/file?

No, it should update automatically.
Please drop us a ticket (menu Support > Ticket support), our developer in charge will take a look at that.

Cheers,

Hi,

You're right we've identified and provide a fix very soon.

Thanks for reporting.

Do you save the image in the post with the old name after using the bulk image rename?

I think it is not an easy task as the images can be used/referenced in many ways. I've already bought a plugin that specialises in renaming images and it also doesn't cover all cases. For example images that are used in sliders (e.g. Fusion Slider) have to be reassigned manually after renaming.

Also while we are talking about bugs, WP Meta SEO breaks Fusion Page Options. Whenever I was editing a page, some settings were reset every time, so I had to keep in mind to change them back every time before saving the page, even when I just want to fix a type. The issue disappeared immediately after I deactivated WP Meta SEO.

Yes indeed, WP Meta SEO handled image renaming only in the WordPress content, not in sliders.
I have opened an access to the support for you so you can drop us a ticket about fusion builder, we'll fix that.
