I am looking for a solution to not only organize our media files but simple way to import and sync specific Google Drive files (PDFs - read only) into our WordPress website. We do not want all of our Google Drive docs to be synced to the website only specific documents/PDFs Once synced we plan on assigning a featured images to each file so we can display them in a titled format with each image being a link to the PDF document. We want to use this as a way to have historical documents embedded in our website for members to view. We do not need the ability to edit the documents on the word press end.

Can you tell me with the plugin do what we need it to? Also does the plugin and/or any of the add-ons have the ability to optimize images and files?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
only specific documents/PDFs Once synced we plan on assigning a featured images to each file

You can sync files from Google Drive but it could not be assigned images to those presently.
Also does the plugin and/or any of the add-ons have the ability to optimize images and files?

I'm sorry, WP Media Folder and its addon cannot be optimized media files but you can use Image Recycle integrating in our plugin.

Hope it helps!
Cheers,

Ok, so once I set it up to sync with Google Drive. How do I embed the documents that I have synced into a page? Is there a way I can automate the process and either display the complete Google Drive file structure or do I have to embed each document manually in a post?
