Hi there, two questions regarding the WP File Download Plugin:

1. Storing my Files: Where are my files stored/saved when using the WP File Download Plugin? Are they saved on my Wordpress website backend? If I connect the plugin to my OneDrive, can the files be stored there only, instead of on my Wordpress? I want to ensure I have enough space available before purchase.

2. Secure download links: Once someone is logged in, using the password I've shared with them privately, is it technically possible that for them to copy/paste the URL to a file and share it with people who did not have a password?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

On your server, files will be saved at {root}\wp-content\uploads\wpfd
If you use cloud storage, files are actually stored at the Cloud server (OneDrive for example).

The password for files or categories is not possible now but it will be implemented in the near future.
Currently, logged in users can download files following the plugin settings.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
