Hello,
I was looking at this plugin and it probably seems to be a good fit for our company's website (download section).
We have a lot of files regarding our products.
Each product has a couple files (tarifs, technical files, technical drawings, manuals, declaration of performance, maintenance instructions, quotes, etc...)
So far no problem, we can easily upload hundreds of these files with FTP and then use the importer tool to add them to the right categories.
However some of our files (like technical files) are updated frequently.
We use naming conventions for all files. for example: E_TF_TechnicalFile_Productname.pdf
This way it overwrites the older version when we upload a newer version through FTP.
Would it be possible that after we setup the whole download section with categories and all it's files manually the first time that we can let it update files automatically by just using FTP? Or is there only a manual way to replace files with an updated version?
Kind Regards,
Skylux IT
