Hi there,
we are currently using WP Downloadmanager from W3 Eden. Two times a year we are uploading about 300 large JPG files (about 20 - 30 MB each) to make them available for our retail customers.

In WP Downloadmanager we need to specify the directory and then we have to generate image previews and have to select the corresponding large JPG from the directory. This is very time consuming.

Does your preview function work for those large files? I cant see anything like this on your demo sites, just an icon for the file extension. So does your preview server can do this and is it possible to specify the size of the preview in pixels? We want preview images in 800 pixels width.

Currently, our plugin supports previewing files up to a maximum size of 2MB. I understand that you require previews for larger JPG files, approximately 20-30MB each,
which may exceed our current capabilities.

While we don't have specific support for generating previews for such large files at the moment, we appreciate your feedback and understand the value it would bring to your workflow.
We will certainly consider this as a potential enhancement for future updates.

In the meantime, if you have any files under 2MB that you would like to preview, our plugin can handle those efficiently.

Is it possible to create the preview on your own server?

We like the work of JoomUnited very much and we would like to buy the bundle with all plugins.

The import possibility of a directory to the downloads is already very good. However, we are missing the preview images. Is there another possibility?

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

While our system does support generating previews, it is currently limited to files under 10MB in size.
This restriction is in place to prevent large files from impacting the loading and performance of your server.
Therefore, if you have files within this size limit, you can utilize our preview functionality.
