Hello JoomUnited team,

Here is some of my pre-sale questions that I have:

Is there a way that I could test both front-facing and back-end before purchase? This might even help in answering some of the other questions that I have.

In the categories, is it possible to show the date that it was updated or a file modified in the category?

In GDD view, is it possible to show dates added or modified and not just the name?

In GDD view, is it possible to have each category have a specific icon instead of the default folder? It would be nice if the category would be able to take an image and use it instead of the basic folder icon so that front-end users could visually recognize contents with the text.

Is it also possible in any theme to not show the amount of times it is downloaded?

Is there a zip option for images? For example, in a certain category if there is multiple images and they wanted to download all the images at once instead of selecting each one for download. That is also the reason for the question about having the ability to use an image instead of an icon.

Is there plans to be able to use a CDN from Amazon, Rackspace or other hosting companies?

I think that your plugin covers most of our needs but I would like to find out if it is able to cover all the needs that we have or if I need add to this solution.

Thanks,
James

Hi,
Thanks for contacting to us here about this extension.

I'm sorry we don't have any trial/limited version as our plugin are open source.

Certainly, you are able to show date added/ date modified in the category. In ggd theme, you will see the date after clicking to files.

We’ll keep that in mind for a future release!

Yes, you can hide it.

Sorry, you are unable to download multi-files.

Hope it helps!

Thank you for your reply.

Just to follow up on some of the questions. When I asked about testing the plugin, I was talking about maybe having it on a WordPress site that is on your server and that people that would really want to test the plugin could do so by logging into your site (like a sandbox type). I think that this way we would have a better idea of how the plugin works. Since it seems that you do have something that shows the front-end, it would be nice if customer could have a look at the admin and be able to see if the plugin works for what they need. I can understand why you wouldn't want to do a limited time trial but there should at least be a way that we could have hands-on in the admin panel and see what changes it does to the front-end.

I think that for our needs it is really close to what we need. There would be a few things that I would like to see added as features but this is not the right forum for that and I haven't even purchase the plugin yet.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm sorry we don't have any trial/limited version as our plugin are open source.
But, if you encounter any trouble of compatibility, the developer in charge can fix that for you or we can refund you.

Cheers,
