Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if WP File Download makes sense for my application prior to purchase. Here's the different things I am confused on based on the responses I have already seen.
1. How do I add the Default Theme for file browse and download to the middle of a Divi Theme page? Is this a shortcode? How configurable (e.g. color) is the shortcode settings?
2. How do I allow a user of a specific role to upload files using the web interface (i.e. not the Wordpress dashboard)? I can create a new page for the user but it doesn't appear there is a front end upload?
3. Is there a money back trial period (e.g. 30 days)?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, you can use category shortcode or insert directly a category through Text editor in Divi builder.
But it is not possible to adjust color in the shortcode.

2. How do I allow a user of a specific role to upload files using the web interface (i.e. not the Wordpress dashboard)? I can create a new page for the user but it doesn't appear there is a front end upload?

You can set roles for users to upload files on frontend. A shortcode generated at backend you can insert anywhere on your site.
For more information: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-documentation/wp-file-download/225-wp-file-download-files-and-categories#toc-9-file-upload-form

3. Is there a money back trial period (e.g. 30 days)?

You can ask for a refund during 30 days after the purchase, but no trial with our plugin.
Please go here for more details: https://www.joomunited.com/refund-policy

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
