Hi,

I would like to know if restricted files will be indexed by Google ?

If it does, what happens if someone try to open it ?

In fact, does your plugin only restrict file displaying on website, or it also restrict access via file path ?

Example : I have a file that only logged users can see on my website. Its path should be : https://mywebsite.com/download/file.pdf

What happens if anyone find the path of this file and try to access it ?

Your files from Google Drive will not be indexed.

Yes, we use both for the restrict access for files and categories on frontend.
If someone knows the link, he can not download because they do not have permission.
He needs to login as a right user to be able to download the file.

So if I don't use your cloud addon and host my private files on my website Google will index my files' direct link ?

But if a not logged in user clic on my private file on Google search he can't access it ?

If the files are stored on your server, it will depend on your sitemap builder.
In order to not be indexed by Google, the post_type should be excluded.
And of course a user can not access your private files which he finds on Google.
