Front end administration

I have a client that needs a solution to share project design files with clients. One person will be uploading the PDFs and Doc files - using the Google Docs feature. He will most likely want to do this from the front end for simplicity. Can this happen with just front end admin? Or does he need to go in the backend to maintain once I've setup the connection between GD and the plugin?
