I have 2 Questions regarding WP File Download, based on checking this documentation:
https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-documentation/wp-file-download/607-wp-file-download-avada-live-elements

1. Can the uploader (based on user roles) able to enter a description/comment about the file that is being uploaded ? I'm not seeing anything on Click Here

2. Is there an option to Show this View for the user:

Also another question,
3. Is it possible that each user have their own personal folder created automatically when user is created ? So user can upload whatever they want in their own private folder.

Thank You

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Users can upload files to on the frontend only, input more information while uploading is not implemented yet in our plugin.

2. Is there an option to Show this View for the user:

This view is a plugin dashboard, and it's not possible to show it on the frontend.

3. Is it possible that each user have their own personal folder created automatically when user is created ? So user can upload whatever they want in their own private folder.

Users will have access to upload to their folders if they have permission, however, it's not possible to generate automatically a folder when creating a user.

Hope this helps!

Is this something that on the roadmap sometime in the near distant future ? If so, any estimate when ?

Is this something that we can achieve with WP Media Folder ? I think i'm a bit confuse between the function of WP File Download and WP Media Folder

Thank You

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

We will consider this feature in the future version.

WP Media folder is based on WP Media library default, so it will display images or galleries on frontend only.
The backend view can not be displayed on both plugins.

Hope this helps!
