Do you have the ability to add links to hosted video files (ie. like vimeo).
Protected in your categories so that only a person with the proper access role will be allowed to see the link to the video and watch it?
Or should I find a different solution for locking down my videos?
Your product works great for the other file types which we are adding to our server, I just do not want to host video on our box. I need to use a service for this.

Yes, you can add remote URL such as: Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion,...

Protected in your categories so that only a person with the proper access role will be allowed to see the link to the video and watch it?

Of course, you can set permission for user to view categories or files on frontend.

I'm not sure what file types do you need, but our plugins works with popular one (as Google preview)
Unfortunately, it could not preview the remote files currently.

SInce youtube (and vimeo) provide links for sharing their videos, what file type do I have to select for adding the remote file to your repository?
It is asking for a Name, URL and Type?
