I reviewed the User Roles options in your documentation and just want to confirm. Can an User who is a WordPress Editor upload files using WP File Download from the backend WordPress Dashboard? I see an option to enable an Editor to upload on the front end, but not the backend.

Yes, you can set users (not admin) to access WP File Download dashboard to manage their categories and files.
