Hi,
I have some questions:

1. It's possible to set access für one user only for a category?
2. How secure are the files (category folders) from users without access? Is there a backdoor e.g. media library? Or it's possible to store the files in a secure folder?

Hi,

1- Yes you can use Wordpress groups or per user visibility (one or more users).

2- This is already handled by WP File Download, files are only served if the user as the needed rights, and files can't be directly accessed.
