Hi,

does the content of the popup embedded in the main text, so that it can be indexed by google?
I don't mean that both are indexed as seperate pages, but rather that the popup content and the main text are shown to google as one text.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

I'm not sure to get what you mean, sorry :)
What I can say is that the popup is fully indexed by Google because it's a Javascript tooltip with HTML inside and there is also a page for each definition of course.

Hi Tristan,

thank you for qick reply.

I try to show you an example of what I mean.

For exaple we have following text:

"This is a Test"

Lets say we have set "123" as definition for "Test" (in our Glossary).
(On mouseover a popup with the content "123" appears.)

So now my question:
Does the googlebot see the line as:
"This is a Test"
or
"This is a Test 123"?

I hope I have made myself understood :)

The reason is:
I want that if someone searches for example "123" in google, the Page with the content "This is a Test" is shown.

Thanks & Regards,
Hamza

Hi,

OK I understand, Google see "This is a test" as a paragraph for example (<p>) and the "123" will be in a separated <span> but in the same paragraph.

That's all I can say :)
