We use BreezingForms extensively and are looking to implement a glossary system that will work in the label fields of forms we design. What are the possibilities that we could achieve this w/ your product?

Also, I didn't find any documentation available to help me understand usage (although I watched the screencast video). Does SEO Glossary allow me to tag glossary terms in my content? Or is it limited to tagging terms automatically without any possibility of allowing me to define which instances of a term are tagged for linking?

BreezingForms url: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/forms/4709

Thanks in advance... markusj

Hi,

If the Joomla content plugin is called in your content, tooltip definitions should work.
Yes of course, all new content witch have a definition entry in a glossary is automatically linked to his definition and will have a tooltip.
Tooltips and links to definition can be disabled individually.

Thanks, Tristan, for your response. I'm still seeking clarification. My wish is that I could access an operations manual or demo your software so I could answer these questions myself, but I'm still operating under the assumption that neither of the options is possible... so more questions follow....

Yes, I'd gathered that based on viewing other questions in this forum... I'm wondering if you know from your experience whether or not small snippets of text (like the label fields used in a forms plugin) are run through the Joomla! content plugin as standard practice. (Please forgive me my ignorance - I'm still learning the logic and flow of the Joomla! system - I may not even be asking the right question). I'll contact BreezingForms developers to get their input on this subject, but I thought you might be able to weigh in up or down on the likelihood of this interaction between SEO Glossary and BreezingForms working as expected.

I can conceive wanting to manually tag the instances in my content (K2 or Joomla!) which SEO Glossary highlights, ignoring other instances of these same terms. I take it from your answer that this manual level of control is not allowed. Am I right?

... and this may be the answer to that question, but I'm not sure if I understand it right:

Tooltips and links to definition can be disabled individually.

Does "individually" mean per-instance or per-glossary-entry?

Thanks again... markusj

Hi,

SEO Glossary only works as a content plugin when it comes to tooltips. That means it will only transform words to a tooltip-enabled word in contents that call the content plugins.

Tooltips cannot be disable for one single world. The only that can be disable is the highlighting of words with tooltips by SEO Glossary within an article.
