Using Openstreetmap (engine, api, distance calculations)

1) Is there a demo with OpenStreetMap?

We do not have demo for OpenSteetMap, however, it will work as you can see on our demo site using Google map.

2) When I switch to Openstreetmap will the Extension use the Openstreetmap-Engine or only load the Map Tiles and still use the Google-Engine? I know some plugins do that, but I am looking for a 100% Google-free solution.

Yes, Openstreetmap is not based on Google Maps. So you do not worry to pay any extra fees.

3) Do the range calculations, geolocate me-funciton etc. work when using OSM?

Yes, the Geolocate-me feature and other main features work normally.
However, the Route system in OSM is not integrated with our extension so it'll link to the Google routes after clicking on "Route" button.
You can disable or use it for free.
