Search/filter and result module ajax based?

Hello,

I`am wondering if the search/filter and result module is ajax based, so results of the filter will show immediately after choosing a filter, for example: I choose a country: the Netherlands and without pushing the search button all items in the Netherlands are shown. Next I choose: restaurants and all the restaurants in the Netherlands are shown. And it would be perfect if there are no restaurants in the Netherlands, the filter restaurants is not shown. If it is not yet in the product, is it already on the roadmap?
