I'm trying to import a CSV-file saved with excel into the my maps location database.
Some data consists of german umlauts (ä, ö, ü) and ß and after I import the CSV the field data is stripped before the umlaut occurs.
I saved the CSV-file via excel and used Tools / Web Options / Encoding / UTF-8 as saving options.
Any help is much appreciated.
