How do i change the language?

Here is the Swedish language file but it's only translated by 28%. You need to rename and upload the file in the proper language repository of your server.

Thanks! I forgot to tell you, its a Joomla site. So i guess the right language repository would be administrator/language/sv-SE. Shall I rename it to sv-SE.com_mymaplocations.ini? And will the component know to use this language file because the site language is swedish, or? Thanks for help!

This main language file (backend and frontend) is located in administrator/language/
And the name you give me is correct.
