Category Filter and vector map

1) is it possible to have a "category" filter in the general world map visualization (or category or tag filter only)? Selecting a category the pins of the map will be automatically updated.
Thats in our to do list and we will cover this in next version.
2) is it possible to use a vector map similar to your component Linky Map , instead to use the default Google Map or Openstreet Map ?
Yes you can use custom map.you can create ticket and we will check and update you on this.
