Can I use My Maps to display all Joomla Contact category.

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

My site has a list of about 100 users in a small community. The list changes frequently. We use the native Contacts list to keep track of changes for a directory and for an email list. Can I display the entire list from Joomla's native Contacts on one map?

This is possible when you use with other 3rd party plugins such as Community builder or Joomsocial.
Users can update their locations and our extension fetch their location and show them on the map.

i am the developer of extension and i have gone through your requirement.can you please let me w2hat contact information are you saving in extension?
will you include latitude and longitude of map as well?

At present we've got the standards: name(contact title), a link to the Joomla user, street address, city, state, zip, country, and a phone number. We can add both Lat/Long as Joomla custom text fields (or make it a single field).

Since this is a core function, we thought it better than adding something like CB or Jom Social since we are not using the extra functions.

If you can add latitude longitude i will help you to create component compatible to contact search field.

Thank you Alax. I have added a Joomla Custom Field in the Contacts group with the name "latlong" with the comma-separated values as they come from Google Maps.

We'll also add them separately in two fields: "latitude" and "longitude".

The current site is 3.10.6, we're just waiting on another extension to go to 4.1.
