Yes, you can create regions of those countries using Linky map, but if you want to link the title to other site you should use My maps location.

Thanks for the prompt reply. The landing page of my site will consist of different countries maps using Linky Maps that I purchased earlier today, divided into smaller regions.

Clicking on a region is one way of searching for service providers in that region in our database.

I do not see why My Maps location would be used here.

I have also bought joomunited My Maps. I was hoping to use this to locate a service provider with respect to myself if I have to visit them and maybe plan a route...

Is the baove about right?

Yes, I got your point. You can insert your URL to any regions, so you can see the providers after clicking.
