I am interested in your product for my Joomla 3.9.3 site

1. It is important that my site is not weighed down too much or made any slower. Will Item rating plugin slow down my site?
2. One the plugin has been set up, will my ratings automatically be reported to search engines (I realise the ratings need to come first
, but after that)?

Item rating never slow down your site.all JavaScript are internally loaded in it.if you face any performance issue please let us know as i didn't see any report for this so far,

We made the format for rich snippet of json ld.
if you can search our item rating page in google you can see rating there when you check our demo .we depend on google for this.but yes if it works well on our site that mean it will work on your site perfectly.
3.(I hope this is not a silly question as I am new to this) will caching and a CDN stop the ratings/votes from updating? Do I have to clear cache every time for the ratings to update?
Our rating box is coming from ajax so don't think joomla caching has big affect on our rating system.if the url of box is also cached then we need to check it later,
Let me know if anything else needed from our end.also if our extension doesn't work well and match our refund policy we will refund you surely.
