Item rating integration with My Maps Location

Hello,

We are already using the My Maps Location extension for our website http://www.outoftrack.com, and we like it very much (though we made a couple of suggestions for new features we are still hoping will be added one day).

We are wondering how the Item Rating extension integrates with MML.

Our request is the following:
we would like our website users to rate spots displayed on MML (outdoor sport locations) a little bit the same way as they do on google map, booking.com or other such websites.

Please find attached a screenshot to illustrate my request and show where we would like the ratings to be displayed.

Is it possible?

How can users rate? Do they have to login? We are quite afraid of being spammed but don't want to put too many obstacles either as we know users will probably not bother going through all these just for rating.

Yes, you can set the restrict for rating at Item rating extension.

What about the rating display location?
Can we display the stars in the caroussel and on the article as per the screenshot of my previous email?

Would you have screenshots/real customer websites or video to send to show how MML and Item rating integrate together please?

We would like two criterias to be rated (spot interest and difficulty). At the moment, this is not interactive. Only admins can change the score.

But we only want one of them (spot interest) to be displayed in the MML caroussel, next to the global map.

We are pretty convinced by the Item rating extension but would love to see real examples of MML and Item rating integration to make sure there is no misunderstanding.

Hello,

Waiting for your response to purchase the extension, hopefully this weekend if I get your answer by then.

We hope the Item rating & MML integration works with standard Joomla! articles (i.e. not using K2 articles), cause we can't get MML working on K2...

Looking forward to seeing examples.

The rating is visible on the search results listing and also in the location detail view.

What about at the top of the MML location Joomla! article? (see screenshot of my initial post)
Since users can navigate from MML articles to MML articles without going back to the search result listing, this would be equally useful.

Your colleague above seems to say it is possible, but you're not mentioning it.

Any real example (website/screenshot/else) would be welcome.

Hello,

I purchased the Item Rating extension almost 3 weeks ago, shortly after your latest answer, but it simply doesn't work.
I created a ticket 3 weeks ago, still unanswered, and another lately.

Could you please confirm somebody is working on it?
